Questions? We’ve got answers

inKind is a marketing and capital partner for restaurants. We provide capital in exchange for food and beverage credit, and use the credit to drive guest traffic into restaurants. Through inKind’s two sided marketplace, operators receive upfront capital that is interest-free, non-dilutive and is the lowest cost of capital available. inKind also drives incremental guest visits through its digital marketing engine and the inKind app.

To date, we’ve deployed over $600M to thousands of restaurants, and have a network of over 4M guests on the inKind app. inKind is an ideal partner for restaurant seeking growth capital and/or additional guest traffic to fill excess capacity.

inKind drives new guest acquisition and increased traffic through its digital marketing engine and the inKind app. Diners can discover your restaurant, view menus, book reservations, and pay, all in one place. inKind also runs ongoing promotions that incentivize its network of guests to dine at partner restaurants and spend more.
Most restaurant partners receive inKind Capital funding within 3–5 business days after signing their agreement and completing onboarding. This allows restaurants to secure capital quickly without the delays associated with traditional loans.

Food and beverage credit is typically redeemed over 16–24 months, as inKind guests dine at your restaurant. Every time a guest pays their bill with the inKind app, the balance of F&B credit is reduced. Unlike fixed payment schedules, servicing inKind’s capital aligns naturally with customer traffic.

There are no cash repayments with inKind Capital. Instead of making monthly payments, customers redeem the food and beverage credit over time. Each transaction reduces the food and beverage credit balance purchased by inKind.

inKind Capital is not a loan. Restaurants do not pay back principle, interest, fees, or monthly installments, nor are there credit checks, personal guarantees or collateralized assets. When inKind sends a guest to your restaurant, the cost to service the guest is equivalent to a restaurant’s cost of food and beverage. inKind’s funding model is aligned with actual customer demand.

When inKind sends a guest to your restaurant, the cost to service the guests equals your variable costs, primarily cost of goods sold (COGS). For example, if your COGS is 30%, fulfilling $100 in redeemed credit costs approximately $30 plus applicable tax. The additional benefits include filling tables that would otherwise go empty, keeping your wait staff busy, serving more guests, and increasing your profitability.
