Our Vision and Thesis for Philanthropy
The restaurant industry is multifaceted and is represented in every town, city, and state across our country. Along with all of our successes and areas in which we excel, there are a plethora of issues that need attention and support. Since launching our philanthropic efforts in 2023, we have been committed to supporting causes in and around the restaurant industry. Our core goal is to improve the lives and conditions of those operating, working, and dining in restaurants.

Restaurants are the backbone of local economies and community culture. They face unique challenges, including high turnover, workplace safety concerns, and the need for ongoing training. We support charitable organizations and initiatives that create or enhance a positive economic, social, environment and/or governance change in the restaurant industry.

Areas of Focus
Restaurant-Centered
  • Training & Education | We support organizations such as the Central Texas Food Bank and Hot Bread Kitchen which help unskilled workers develop the skills they need for long, fulfilling careers in the restaurant industry.
  • Business Development | Some restaurants may lack crucial comprehensive business knowledge and resources, so we support organizations that help restaurateurs streamline operations and focus on growth.
  • Environmental Impact | Our support extends to programs that help restaurants become more environmentally sound, ensuring sustainability is woven into the fabric of their operations.
  • Restaurant Social Support | We support social programs, such as childcare programs, which offer services for restaurant employees to balance family well-being while promoting stability in the restaurant industry. This type of support ensures employees have peace of mind, enabling them to focus on their work and stay in their roles longer.
  • Health and Wellbeing | We prioritize support for governance programs that promote social safety for issues observed in the restaurant industry, including alcohol relief programs, suicide prevention, grief training, and other health and safety resources.
  • Food Access and Outreach | We support organizations that address food insecurity, both for restaurant employees and communities.
Restaurant-adjacent
We also consider initiatives that may not fit into these categories but align with our company goals.
Non-restaurant related charities
While not our stated focus, we believe it is important to consider opportunities that will help us spread the word about our restaurant network and the restaurant industry.

Other Practical Considerations:
Budgeting
As with every entity, we have finite allocated funds each year to support charities.
Operational Soundness
Mission and vision alignment are critical, but we also assess a charity’s structural soundness and abilities to operate and implement effectively. demonstrates

If it turns out that we are not in a position to support you this cycle, please keep in touch as things update/change/grow.
