Questions? We’ve got answers
inKind Capital is a growth and capital partner for restaurants. Restaurants receive funding in exchange for future food and beverage credit, rather than equity or traditional debt. inKind then uses that credit within its consumer network to drive new guest traffic, increase revenue, and support long-term restaurant growth. Operators receive capital that is non-dilutive, interest-free, and non-restrictive.
There are no cash repayments with inKind Capital. Instead of making monthly payments, customers redeem the food and beverage credit over time. Each transaction reduces the food and beverage credit balance purchased by inKind.
inKind Capital is not a loan. Restaurants do not pay back principle, interest, fees, or monthly installments, nor are there credit checks, personal guarantees or collateralized assets. When inKind sends a guest to your restaurant, the cost to service the guest is equivalent to a restaurant’s cost of food and beverage. inKind’s funding model is aligned with actual customer demand.
When inKind sends a guest to your restaurant, the cost to service the guests equals your variable costs, primarily cost of goods sold (COGS). For example, if your COGS is 30%, fulfilling $100 in redeemed credit costs approximately $30 plus applicable tax. The additional benefits include filling tables that would otherwise go empty, keeping your wait staff busy, serving more guests, and increasing your profitability.
